Here are 5 easy to find food items you can stock up on each trip to help you and your family stay healthy.

Citrus fruits are filled with vitamin C which helps build up your immunity as well as creates white blood cells, which are key to fighting off infections! Make sure to brush your teeth after eating these fruits as the acidity can damage your tooth enamel.
2. Vegetables

Did you know they’re also a great source of calcium? Add veggies like broccoli, spinach, and bell peppers to your next meal at the dinner table to help boost your immune system.
3. Almonds
A great snack option -- almonds are full of vitamin E, which is a great immune booster! Almonds also have a lot of healthy fats which keep you feeling satisfied. You can add almonds to just about any meal or combine it with a dessert, but remember they’re best consumed in moderation.
